This unique Austin home will blow your mind!  Not only is the “Novel” Retreat  hands down the most electric and interesting home you will ever meet, she is also beautifully appointed with premium fixtures and amenities to serve as your oasis to eat, sleep, and play during your visit to Austin. Not only is the “Novel” Retreat walking distance to the eclectic epicenter of Austin, South Congress (SoCo) Ave, the “Novel” Retreat boasts 1,000+ rare books in a Library outfitted with actual two-story library ladders, original art collected from around the world, modern and eclectic furnishings plus premium fixtures throughout.  You will start each day rested after sleeping on a tempur-pedic or sleep number bed and excited to start exploring Austin after contemplating the downtown Austin skyline from the master suite and enjoying a cup of coffee on the back deck in your very own private oasis.  Each day when you come home from a full day of exploring the exciting Austin scene, you can unwind in your private outdoor oasis, complete with cedar hot tub, infrared sauna, loungers, outdoor shower, wet bar, grill and 8-10 person outdoor dining table and lounge area.   After dining alfresco or taking a dip in the cedar hot tub, you can chill with a game darts or corn hole on the back deck, sip wine around the fire pit, kick back in front of one of 4 HDVs (with endless streaming content), listen to your favorite music with the Sonos home theatre and sound system, or exploring the Library for your favorite rare “novel” or board game   

Adrienne, your “Novel” Retreat host will ensure you have an upscale experience with services that elevate your stay and save time so you can enjoy every moment exploring Austin.   Guests will be greeted with an array of local Austin snacks to stave off the travel munchies, a refrigerator stocked with breakfast fixings for your first morning in Austin, plus a beverage fridge stocked with water, local beer and energy drinks.   Upon request (and for additional fees, as applicable) we are also able to: fully stock your fridge with everything you need for your stay, provide mid-stay cleanings, and book a private chef to prepare a meal or all your meals during your stay. For anything you need (or never knew you needed), we're at your service!

Its crown jewel, Lady Bird Lake, runs through downtown offering access to miles of trails, parks and natural spring pools.   Just steps away from the Lake are lively bars, restaurants, live music and unique shopping.   Just minutes from the downtown area you will also find Lake Travel and Lake Austin where you can spend your days on the lakes’ crystal clear waters enjoying all manner of water sports.  Whether you are bar hopping on Sixth Street, enjoying live music on the East Side or shopping on South Congress Ave. Locals and visitors love to “keep Austin weird”, which is reason enough to travel to this quirky city and experience the “novelty” of this eclectic city at the “Novel” Retreat.
